Traditional processing referrers to the way the pricing structure is. Traditional is what everyone had prior to 2016 where the business pays the rates and fees for the cards they take and did not pass any costs onto the customer.
Our Traditional processing is a step above the rest. With any of our traditional plans you will always pay Interchange plus our markup and transaction fee. Interchange is set by the card brands and is the same for every processor out there. You may know it as wholesale or cost plus. It is by far the cheapest way to take cards unless you start passing some costs onto your customer. When you are on an Interchange plus rate set 90% of the fees you pay go to the banks and brands. Our markup would only be $2.50 for every $1000 you processed at the most.
